Warner Robins, Georgia – Erna Caruso, 66, went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 7, 2022. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Erna will be held at a later date in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Erna was born in Santiago, Chilie on August 28, 1955. Erna was later adopted by Joann Cobb Quinn and William Quinn. The two had took her in while loving and nurturing her to a beautiful young lady. On May 10, 1980 Erna married the love of her life, Paul Caruso. From there the two began living a love story that can only be described as beautiful.
Erna was a very devoted Christian who followed the Lord her God closely and understood the importance of service. Erna was a member of the Rosary Society and the Red Hats Organization as well as the choir at the Lady of Lords in Massapequa. New York. She truly loved children and invested countless hours into the youth. She truly believed the next generation were capable of great things and had taught them the importance of their faith along with honor and integrity.
While Erna was strong in her faith she was also very family oriented. Erna truly loved being surrounded by those who she cherished. Erna could often times be found dancing to her famous tunes or out in the yard enjoying the lords creation. No matter what Erna was doing she always possessed a warm smile that would warm the hearts of others.
Erna will forever be remembered for her loving personality as well as her acts of giving. In honor of Erna the family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriners Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL.
Left to cherish the beautiful memory that Erna leaves behind is her beloved husband of the last 42 years, Paul Caruso; Children: Nicole DiNoto (Jon), Paul Caruso, Jr. (Cindy), Danielle Coe (Chad); Grandchildren: Johnny, Allessandra, and Cayden; Siblings: Kevin, Oscar, Patti, Al, Terry, Katy, Eileen, Ruth, and Brian.
