Obituary of Mildred Powell Berry

Warner Robins, GA: Mildred Powell Berry, 80, passed away Friday, September 30, 2005 in a local hospital. Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday Oct. 3, 2005, in the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with burial at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will from 7 until 9 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Berry was born in Albany, GA to the late Julian and Mattie Lou Strickland Powell. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, a retired legal secretary and a former member and Emeritus of the Warner Robins Pilot Club. Mrs. Berry was a lifetime member of the Warner Robins Touchdown Club which she and her husband have been involved with for many many years. Survivors include her husband Forest C. Berry of Warner Robins, son David C. Berry & wife Harryette of Mt. Pleasant, SC, daughter Polly Holmes & husband Mitch Williams of Atlanta and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make donations to the First United Methodist Church at 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093 in memory of Mrs. Berry. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
