Obituary of James L. Cook

Warner Robins: James L. Cook, I, 60, of Warner Robins died on Wednesday June 9, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Charles Hanson, Dr. Mark Dibois and Mr. Matt Stone will officiate. Rev. Cook, a native of Toledo, OH was President of J. C. Ministries, Inc. He served on the board of Zoe Life Christian Ministries and Waymarks International Ministries. While a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict he received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Rev. Cook originated and hosted the live television talk show ?Spirit Wars The Show? and continued the ?Spirit Wars Show? on Radio Live, WBML AM 900 until October 2002. Rev. Cook the radio and TV personality received statewide recognition hosting political debates including Governor and United State Senate races. Survivors include his wife Tincy H. Cook. Son; James L. Sylvia Cook. Stepsons: Gerald Cobb and Mitchell Cobb. Sister; Glenna Christiansen. Eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
