Obituary of Rose A. Smith

Warner Robins, GA: Rose A. ?The Angel Lady? Smith, 90, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church with burial in the New Section of Riverside Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was born in Macon, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Smith. She was retired from Bell South and was the Historical Chairman of the Bell South Pioneers. She lived a very active life while she served her community as the Past President of the Warner Robins Pilot Club, a member of the Daughters of the Nile and she help organized and start the Pink Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Smith was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Sheriff Boys Ranch. She is survived by a nephew, Walter S. Smith of Byron, GA and neice, Jeanie S. Zadach of Savannah. Contribution may be made to the Hospice of Houston County at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088 in memory of Mrs. Smith. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
