Obituary of Ila Mae Stewart

Warner Robins, GA: Mrs. Ila Mae Stripling Stewart, 93, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at her home. Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Second Baptist Church with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, GA. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Stewart was born in Crisp County, GA to the late John and Dora Cox Stripling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Stewart, grandson, Ricky Stewart and a great granddaughter, Rachel Ryan. Mrs. Stewart was a charter member of the Pinecrest Baptist Church in Cordele and also a member of the Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Billy W. & Linda Stewart of Perry, Martha Johnson of Warner Robins and Pat Stewart also of Warner Robins, 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund at 2504 Moody Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
