Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Arnold Harper Busby

Centerville, GA: Frances Arnold Pape Harper Busby, went to her heavenly home on December 17, 2004, after a 20 year battle with cancer. Born on November 23, 1922 to the late James and Runa Arnold of Ft. Valley, GA. Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by her sister Ruby Autherhoff and brothers Enoch and B. Centerville, GA: Frances Arnold Pape Harper Busby, went to her heavenly home on December 17, 2004, after a 20 year battle with cancer. Born on November 23, 1922 to the late James and Runa Arnold of Ft. Valley, GA. Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by her sister Ruby Autherhoff and brothers Enoch and Bentley Arnold; her first husband Pasquale Pape; her second husband Cliff Harper; and her grandson Kevin Pape. She is survived by her husband Melvin T. Busby of Centerville, GA; two daughters, Patricia Pape Whitten Tom; Becky Harper Miller of Kathleen, GA; one son, Michael Pape of Loganville, GA; one stepdaughter, Tanya Busby of Dallas, TX; a stepson, Tommy Busby Paula of Mobile, AL; and a niece, Katherine Thompson of Miami, FL. Mrs. Busby also had 10 grandchildren, 5 great granddaughters and other nieces and nephews. As a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, Mrs. Busby served faithfully as the Sec/Treasurer of the Fidelity Sunday School class for a number of years. She was also an item manager with Civil Service at RAFB for 25 years and had been retired from the Base for over 30 years. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins and Dr. Jimmy R. Asbell, Jr. and Rev. Missy Blumenthal. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens . Friends will serve as pallbearers and members of the Fidelity Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
