Obituary of Billy Wayne Nappier

Kathleen, GA: Billy Wayne Nappier, 72, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2004 at his residence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Nappier was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Marvin and Orpha Bates Nappier. He was a retired equipment specialist from Robins Air Force Base and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member at Second Baptist Church, a member of the church choir, performed in the Warner Robins Passion Play and a member of the XYZ senior adult group. Mr. Nappier also was a member of the church choir at Kathleen Baptist Church and a ham radio operator. Survivors include his wife Wilda A. Nappier of Kathleen, daughter Susan N. Tharpe of Savannah, son Craig Nappier of Kathleen, cousins Betty & Joel Taylor of Macon and Peggy Fuller of Conyers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund at 2504 Moody Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to the Kathleen Baptist Church Building Fund at 103 Bear Branch Rd., Kathleen, GA 31047. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
