Obituary of Edna Thomas Perkins

Warner Robins: Edna Thomas Perkins, 82, of Warner Robins died Sunday January 16, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. H. Owen Bozeman and Rev. Sydney Odom will officiate. Mrs. Perkins was a native of St. Clair County, Alabama but had lived in Warner Robins since 1948. She was the widow of Horace A. Perkins. She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church. She was also a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Martha Berry Chapter 351 of the Eastern Star, Past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile, Al Sihah Temple, and former Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls. She was a member of the Women of the Moose. Her son Albert Wayne Perkins and daughter Donna P. Tillery preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Patricia P. Williams of Warner Robins. Siblings: Nellie Mize, Odell Sanders, Alvin Casey Thomas, Jean Ray Edwards, Donald Ray Katherine Thomas all of Alabama. Five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
