Obituary of Johnnie Earl Mills

Bonaire, GA: Johnnie Earl Mills, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Mills was born in Tift County, GA to the late Johnnie Earl and Clara Mae Walker Mills, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Mills. He was the owner and operator of Mills Auto Repair Shop in Warner Robins for many years. Mr. Mills built and raced his own cars which he loved and did very well. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and the Army Reserves having served in the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife Gwen Pitts Mills of Bonaire, sons David Earl Mills of Leesburg, GA, Tommy Mills of Bonaire, daughter Linda Diana Flint of Hawkinsville, sisters Thelma Eisch and Jean Forrester both of Long Boat Key, FL, brother Dennis Mills of Loganville, grandchildren Jonathan David Stephanie Horton, Jennifer Horton, Shawn Mills, Scott Mills, Stefani Mills, Melissa Mills, Catherine Mills, Christopher Flint and Alan Flint, great grandchildren Allison, Cassie, Summer and Brian.
