Obituary of Bessie E. Wilson Willman

WARNER ROBINS, GA-Bessie Elizabeth Wilson Willman “Nanny”, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday November 5, 2018. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. Immediately following the service she will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Johnny McDowell will officiate. Bessie was born on November 24, 1944 in York, South Carolina to the late Robert and Violet Naomi Farris Wilson. She retired after 20 plus years of service working at Parkwood Elementary School. She later went to work for Steve’s B and Shipwreck Restaurant. In her spare time she fished and gambled. She was an avid coffee drinker, (Navy Seal) dark and strong. She loved spending time with her grandkids whom she loved and adored. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Tammy Jo Marsengill (Dale); Joseph McCoy Willman (Jamie); Jason Kelly Willman; 3 brothers, Michael Wilson; Henry Andrew Wilson; James Robert Wilson (Doris); 3 sisters, Patricia Marlene Chatham (Steve); Wanda Kay Christensen (Steve); Dorothy Cynthia Gale Grant (Oliver); 5 grandchildren, Tasha, Tara, Joshua, Mallory, and D.J.; 12 great grandchildren, Seth, Skylar, Hunter James, Jacob, Urijah, Harley, Layla, Cason, Grey, Hunter, Kamdyn, and Holden.
