Obituary of Grace Marguerite Canady Woodcock

Warner Robins, GA- Grace Marguerite Woodcock “Granny”, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 9, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, November 12, 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. Immediately following the service she will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Pastor Sam Sellers, Pastor N.B. Gross and Pastor John Woodcock will officiate. Marguerite was born on July 15, 1932 in Nashville, GA. to the late Algie and Nellie Canady. She was retired from Heilig Meyers after many years of dedicated service. She was a founding member of the Faith Baptist Church in Hawkinsville. In her spare time she loved to shop and cook some great southern food. Marguerite is the last of her family on her side (Benefield side). Her greatest joy was her family whom she dearly loved, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harvell “Woody” Woodcock; daughter, Teresa Lucille Chitty, granddaughter, Marlena Stone and her brothers and sisters. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Ronald Gene Chitty (Debbie), Eustis, Fla.; Donnie Woodcock, Statesboro; Wayne Chitty (Linda), Port St Lucie, Fla.; Judy “Charli” Mitchell (Jim), Warner Robins; Jane Trimboli (Darrell), Orlando; Rebecca Gregory (William), Iuka, Mississippi; Marie Sanders (Mike), Warner Robins; 13 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
