Obituary of Richard Lazaurs

Centerville, GA- MSgt. Richard Lazaurs, USAF (Ret.), 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. A memorial service will be held graveside Friday December 14, 2018 at 11am Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Glen Grantham will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made payable to the Disabled American Veterans, 1700 Clairmont Road, Decatur, Georgia 30033. Richard was born on March 10, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Richard and Julia Lazaurs. He was preceded in death by a son, Herman Lazaurs, 3 sisters and a brother. He proudly served his country and retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service. He later worked as a postman for the US Postal Service. He was avid hunter and fisherman and loved to play cards. He was an active member and Past Governor of the Warner Robins Moose Lodge 1688.He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Ann Lazaurs, daughter, Monica Lazaurs, Scott Snyder, and Lisa Snyder. many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Raymond (Phyllis).Lazaurs .
