Obituary of James R. Bryant

Centerville, GA: James R. ?Jim? Bryant, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Houston Medical Center. Services will at 1:00 PM Thursday at Green Acres Baptist Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Bryant was born in Atlanta to the late Edward and Alice Bryant. He was the owner and operator of Bryant Wallcovering and attended Green Acres Baptist Church. While in the U.S. Marine Corp, Mr. Bryant served in the Vietnam conflict and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, the Vietnamese Campaign Medal, the Rifle Marksman Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. Survivors include his wife Pat R. Bryant of Centerville, daughter Lynn Gary Helms of Centerville, son David Brandy Bryant of Cochran, granddaughters Jessica Helms, Emily Helms and Krystanna Bryant. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Houston County at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
