I was a toddler when the Wall family were our neighbours in Buchschlag, near Rhein Main Airbase/Germany, and don‘t remember them. But my recently deceased mother had fond memories of Cookie and Jim and often spoke about them. I own an old trunk that once belonged to Jim and was left behind when they moved out of their house in Forsthausweg 11, and plan to donate it to the Buchschlager Geschichtsverein (Historical Society).
