Obituary of James E. Bell

Warner Robins: James E. Bell, 62, of Warner Robins died Thursday September 11, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Revs. Charles Hanson and Frankie Sorrow will officiate. Mr. Bell, a native of Hawkinsville, was the son of the late John and Louise Hunley Shew Bell and the widower of Christine Stokes Bell. He was also preceded in death by his son Dewayne Matthew Bell and brother John Matthew Bell. He retired from Yellow Freight after 20 years of service. He was also a member of the Teamster?s Union and a US Marine Corps Veteran. Survivors include his friend Linda Keck of Warner Robins. Children; Elmer G. Wimberly of Dry Branch, Anita Hammil of Dallas, TX, Linda Newsome of Byron, Jerry Staplton of Brunswick, William Joyner of Macon and Sandra Yaughn of Byron. Sisters; Faustine ?Tina? Long of Macon, Wanda Dobson of Macon, Shirley Bell Barlow of Chester, Clara Bell of Jackson, FL. 27 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
