Obituary of Alma "Mae" Harris

Warner Robins, Ga. – Alma “Mae” Harris, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, December 24, 2018 surrounded by her family.  A private graveside service for Mrs. Harris will Friday December 28, 2018 Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday December 28, 2018 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Alma “Mae” Harris was born July 26, 1927 in London, Kentucky to the late Oakley and Bertha Hammons. “Mae” was southern homemaker who loved taking care of her home and husband, Robert “Bob”. Although she loved taking care of her family, she especially adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. “ “Mae” loved spending her spare time on her back porch with family and friends or just by herself. “Mae” was beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Alma “Mae” Harris is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert “Bob” Harris; daughter, Shirley (John) Hatchett; son, Vernon (Linda) Harris; grandchildren, Dana (Jason) DeLoach and Kevin Harris; great grandchildren, Austin and Dustin Tidwell.

Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
