Obituary of Jewel H. Smith

Centerville, GA- Ruby Jewel H. Smith, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, 1:00PM-2:00PM.  Immediately following the service she will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 13, 1928 in Franklin, Georgia to the late Paul and Ruby Hearn.  She was a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Jewel retired from Wheeler Manufacture after 30 years of service. She was a very loving and thoughtful person who loved her family dearly. She was a caring and loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Leon Smith and son, David Keith Smith.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Anita Stevens, Centerville; grandson, Joshua David Smith (Christy Jo), Montana; granddaughter, Ruth Ellen Smith, Montana; great granddaughter, Lily Smith; sister, Hazel Ray and brother, Roe Hearn.
