Wow, I just found out Don has passed away. I was his stage manager when he directed "The Dining Room" at WRLT back in the mid-90's. I enjoyed watching him work, and learned a lot from him. He was passionate and very creative, a pleasure to be around. He knew how to bring out the best in people. His good humor was infectious. My belated condolences, he will be missed but his memories will be kept alive in my heart and my mind. -nelson

Dear Family,
Please accept my condolences. The sting of death is hard to bear. Our Heavenly Father, Jehovah, understands our sorrow. He doesn’t want us hurting. In fact, in His Word, the Bible, He gives us encouragement. It’s explained in His Word about why death and suffering happen. Additionally, He helps us to understand that this was not meant to be. Acts 24:15, in the Bible, notes that there will be a resurrection! Revelation 21:4 mentions that our Creator promises that death, mourning, and pain will be things of the past. What’s more, 1 Corinthians 15:26 confirms that death will be brought to nothing. Imagine that! A world in which there’ll be no more death. Can you picture it?
I am encouraging you to take heart! Currently, your loved one is now resting. But, in the very near future, that loved one will be raised---resurrected---to the prospect of living here, on earth—FOREVER! This is a PROMISE from our Creator, HIMSELF! Isn’t that wonderful, good news? I hope these words of encouragement have done for you what I have intended for them to do. And, that is, to provide you with some comfort, peace, and strength. For further spiritual information and encouragement, I invite you to visit JW.org

My deepest sympathies for anyone who is feeling the loss of Don and missing him terribly. He was a wonderful person, actor and inspiration. He directed me in a few productions of Warner Robins Children's Theater and decades later- I still remember his enthusiasm. I'm very happy to have been his student and fan.

Don you are my friend and my brother. I don’t have the words to tell you how much you have meant to me all these years. Like family we had our share of good times and bad times but we always came back together. I feel as if a part of me is now missing and I’m not sure what to do. We’ll soldier on though, and when we see each other again, we’ll give em one helluva show! I promise to watch out for Neicey and all the boys.
My Love Always,
Bill

The most amazing teacher I’ve ever had. I’m so blessed to have had this man in my life, even if it was only for a short time. He sure made an impression though and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks so. My heart hurts for Mrs. Denise and her boys and his son. I know he loved them so. I will continue to pray for peace for his family and all the lives he touched along the way.

Mr. McGraw was my English teacher in 1993 at Northside High School. I was having family issues at the time and was being bullied at school. His class was the one thing I looked forward to. He was a talented and passionate teacher. My favorite memory of him was when he played Simon and Garfunkel's song, "I Am a Rock," for the class.
I have no doubt there are dozens upon dozens of other students he had a positive influence on.
My condolences to his family and friends. Just know that he left a lasting positive impact on the lives of his students, and everyone else he worked with or spent time with.

I was lucky enough to be blessed by having Mr. McGraw as my teacher at Northside in 1992. I struggled previously in my English classes but the year I got him, that all changed. He made the class entertaining and showed such passion. My heart aches for him and his family. Heaven gained one heck of an angel. Gone way too soon!

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Prayers for the family. Don will be missed by all that knew him. He was loved and respected by his friends. The one we could always come to with a question on film or stage techniques. A talanted actor who shared his gift with many. A talanted director who always made his actors look great. And now, a new headliner for the big theatre in the sky. His star will always shine bright.

Denise and family my thoughts and prayers are with you. His jokes, laughter and personality just shined bright everywhere he went. He definitely had his hands full and put in his fair share of work with us Younique girls. We will all miss him.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
