Obituary of Loretta H. Bryant

Mrs. Loretta Hadley Bryant, 86, of Kathleen, peacefully and quietly left this earth to meet her Lord and Savior in the early afternoon of Sunday August 4, 2019, following a brief illness. She was met by her late husband of 61 years, Albert Lee Bryant who preceded her to their heavenly home in 2016. She was the proud daughter of Jim and Susie Hadley of Columbia Kentucky, and she certainly looked forward to seeing them again.

A faithful and capable Air Force wife, she moved the family to the numerous homes they shared throughout Albert’s 21-year military career to settle in Warner Robins, GA. in 1971. Upon their 15th change of address, they happily moved to Kathleen. She was a consummate homemaker, supporting her family through all these changes and moves, providing love, stability and support throughout.

She adored her family, having graduated from Adair County High School with Albert in Columbia, Kentucky. HE was the only gentleman she dated, and they were true and loving partners for life. Their children, Karen Bryant Talton, and her husband Robert L. Talton, of Kathleen, and Cheryl Bryant Jones and her husband Philip W. Jones of Bonaire continue to be exceedingly blessed by the unparalleled legacy of having these two wonderful talented people as parents. Nathan and Leah Jones of Centerville, and Rachel and Justin Morris of Perry, are Loretta’s most beloved grandchildren. Aaron Wayne Jones , Loretta’s great grandson, has been a source of joy and laughter for her this past year. She and Albert were instrumental in the upbringing of their grandchildren, and they were the best of role models and examples.

She is survived by her siblings, Edwin and Barbara Hadley of Columbia, Kentucky; Neil and Clyde Collins, of Warner Robins and Mary Lou Hadley of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Her brother, Rev Landon Hadley, was also part of the large greeting party in Heaven.

Throughout their lives, Loretta and Albert served in churches around the nation. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church for 48 years and enjoyed the services online after she became physically unable to attend. She loved the Lord and her prayers up to the moment of her departure reflected that sweet fellowship. Her family is comforted by knowing she is in glory-perfectly healed at last.

Loretta loved flowers and also served her church home. Donations in her memory might be directed to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA. 31088
