I met Millie & Al in Alberta Virginia in 1999 through my parents Gary & Joyce Bilbro. My sons & I always called her "aunt" Millie. She became like family. We visited her many times, she attended some school functions of the boys & after she & Al moved to Georgia we kept in touch regularly through cards, letters & phone calls. She was very much loved. She will be missed.

I love Grandma Millie so much, I will always remember her. she was the very first person I met when I first moved to Georgia with my mom and dad. I lived with her for about a year when we got here I was 15 then. And after I continued to see her for the last 7 years of my life. She had been there to meet, play with, and love both my Daughters. She was a charming sociable woman, with strong christian convictions. In her quite time you'd see her engrossed with a nice book, or watching herself a bit of daytime game shows. Grandma LOVED to offer my husband, myself, and my girls food, no matter when we came to see her. If we came we were fed! Grandma also loved beautiful flowers, always ordering new seeds from her gardening magazines, she would talk to me about them all the time. Excitedly expecting them. She offered her home out many times to her family when they were in need of a place to stay. Gave me one of her beloved teddy bears wail I was pregnant with my first. Grandma I will remember your kindness, generosity, and love forever. I love you so much, I miss you.

My condolences to Mark, Bruce and family.
Aunt Millie was the best. I loved visiting her when we could. Dennis and I enjoyed her tremendously. When we lived in Virginia we we were able to see her more often. We did visit whenever we were in Georgia and would take her to visit with Evelyn. I will miss her. I wiill miss her very much as we kept in touch by phone or notes. Savor your memories.
