I just learned of Lori's passing. My mom worked with Lori for many years at Dr. White/Dr. Tom's office. With my mom joining the practice when I was in second grade, I grew up knowing her coworkers. Lori stood out as someone who genuinely loved her profession, and she went the extra mile to ensure that her patients had an exceptional experience.
Lori was someone I looked forward to seeing, someone who always made me smile. I know that her faith in God was strong. Even in tough times, she pursued Christ as the source of her strength. She lived an exemplary life, and her unexpected passing is a reminder that none of us knows the number of days that God has ordained for us. So, as Lori did, we should all live each day to the fullest and invest our time and energy on things that truly matter.
I grew up with Lori as a part of my life. Not only as my hygenist for many years but primarily as my friend. She loved God, she loved people, and she loved animals. Her life was characterized by love, and that's not common in today's world. So, although she is gone from this earth, she now lives forevermore with Jesus. She'll remain in my memory, serving as an example of a life well-lived. "Only one life, twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last."

My visit to see Lori at the dentist office yesterday was such a shock. I saw Lori's beautiful picture, instantly thinking it must be an award for years of dedication.
"I wish Heaven had visiting hours", or something similar took a few minutes to sink in. My smile and fantastic thoughts, quickly turned to sadness, as Frida explained to me.
Lori was such a delightful person. We talked and laughed about anything and everything during "years" of all my six months visits. She enjoyed her job and most of all "people".
She was always happy and cheerful, as we got older together, we started talking about "aging".
I am so sorry for the family's loss, her co-workers loss, anyone that came in contact with Lori will feel the loss. I certainly do. I know Lori fulfilled her "assignment" here on earth better than anyone could expect.
I will miss Lori and her beautiful spirit and smile.
My prayers and thoughts will be for her Mother, family and friends.
Lori's pets that will also miss Lori's special love and attention, will be in my prayers and thoughts.

To Lori's family: I was totally shocked reading of Lori's passing and am profoundly saddened by it. Lori has been my dental hygienist at Dr. Toms' office for more than 20 years. I was just there on June 8th and she seemed her usual bright, bubbly self. For someone to be called home while still relatively young and with so much still to offer is incomprehensible, but I hope that the example of her life can continue to be an inspiration to others for a long time to come. Please accept my most sincere condolences, and I pray a wish for the loving peace of God to protect and heal all her family who are grieved by their loss. She was a lovely person and will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to Lori's family. Lori was a dear friend & the most kind person I have ever known. She had a light about her & a heart of gold. Such a devastating loss of a sweet soul gone way too soon. Heaven has gained a true angel. My favorite memories are getting together to walk our dogs in the beautiful parks of north Georgia.
