Obituary of Betty Joyce Studstill

Betty Joyce Studstill went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with her beloved family at her bedside. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 4:00PM at Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Betty was born on July 12, 1940 in Long View, Texas to the late Admiral Breland and Pearl Tawwater Breland. Betty was a woman who loved her family and loved being with those she loved. Betty was a woman who loved to cook for her family and was famous for cooking more than what was intended to eat. She loved being out in the outdoors gardening in her yard mesmerized by the beauty of the blooming flowers. Betty will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents there, awaiting for her at the gates of heaven was her beloved husband, Max Cleaveland Studstill and children, Sherry Davis Hayes, Terri Studstill Reddish, and Ronald “Johnny” Smith.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughter, Joyce Davis (Charles) Murphy; grandchildren, David Brian Carroll, Courtney Carroll Herlong, Jordan Michelle Thompson, Lauren Hester, Tiffinie Jordan, Brittanie Anderson, and Jeremy Smith. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Jace Boyd, Clyde Boyd and an additional 10 great-grandchildren.
