Obituary of Emma Rosa Hill

Centerville, Georgia – Emma Rosa Hill, 86, passed away peacefully with her beloved family at her bedside the evening of January 21, 2021. At the request of the family, all services will be private.

Emma was born on October 25, 1934 in Eltingshausen, Germany to the late Rosa Johanna Greubel and Hieronymus Metzler. Emma loved working out in her yard planting flowers for everyone to enjoy. When Emma was not out in her yard, she could often be found walking her dogs, “Fredericka” and “Buster”.  Emma was a loving mother who cared for her children and taught them how to be responsible adults who would be successful and loving parents themselves. Emma was a strong woman, which she had to be raising three boys herself. She will forever be remembered for her love she had for her Lord and Savior. Emma was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for countless years.

In addition to her parents there, awaiting for her at the gates of heaven is her beloved Twin Sister, Leni Stroebel and extended family members. 

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved Children; Charles Hill, Roger Hill, Kenny Hill (Regina Harp-Hill); siblings, Martina Muller, and Gerhardt Metzler. She is also survived by a host of many nieces and nephews and many friends.
