Obituary of Deborah L. Hanson

Warner Robins, Georgia – Deborah L. Hanson, 62, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 6, 2021 with her beloved family at her bedside. A Memorial Service honoring Deborah’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 5:00PM in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Deborah was born on March 22, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Mildred Beach, and Charles Hodnett. Deborah was a very loving woman who loved everyone she came across. Her smile was a very contagious smile that would lighten up a room upon her entry. She was a very calm person who would often times make the best out of any situation and encourage those who were struggling. In Deborah’s free time she could often be found outside in her yard mesmerized by the natural beauty of the earth or on a body of water fishing and dreaming of one day owning a pontoon boat. One of Deborah’s most prized possessions was her love for the Lord and it showed in everything she did. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of the last 28 years, David Hansen; Stepmother, Mary Hodnett; Children: John Hanson, Kristi Hanson; Grandchild: Courtney Hanson; Great-grandchild, Ava Bunn; Siblings, Tammy Cortes (Richard), Tina Waters (Jeremey), Julia Hodnett, Jonathan Hodnett. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and extended family members as well as a countless amount of friends.
