Obituary of Lee Walter Allen

Centerville, Georgia – Lee Walter Allen 74, went home to be with his Lord and savior on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Houston Medical Center. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 1:00PM at Parkway Memorial Gardens.

Lee was born on September 12, 1946 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Atha Brock and Milton Woodrow Allen. Lee proudly served his country by serving in the United States Army. Lee was a very dedicated hard worker who loved providing for those he loved. When he was not found working he could often times be found out in his yard planting flowers and cutting the grass.  Lee was a very loving man who loved life and treasured every moment. He smiled often and loved everyone. He will forever be remembered for his caring personality and humorous jokes. Lee was a faithful and devoted Christian who served his Lord and Savior with all his soul, mind, and strength.

In addition to his parents there, awaiting for him at the gates of heaven was his beloved sister, Carolyn Allen.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved bride of the last 35 years, Carolyn Ann Roberts Allen; Children, Jennifer, David, Kristi, Richard, Bonnie, and Renee; 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his brothers, James Allen (Ramona), Jerry Allen (Linda) and a host of nieces and nephews and many extended family members.
