Obituary of Flora Daisy McFarland

Carrollton, GA-Flora Daisy McFarland, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Services are private.
Flora was born December 16, 1933 in Andersonville, Georgia to the late John Henry Wood, II and the late Ruby Taylor. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints and the Relief Society of her local church. Flora contributed regularly to the Wounded Warrior Project. At one time, she was the cook, bartender, and manager for Poor Little John's. Flora enjoyed playing and watching sports, sewing, cooking, and swimming. She was very involved in her community and served as a life guard.
She is survived by her children: Russell McFarland of Florida, Paul McFarland of Oregon, Katherine Wright of Americus, and Judith McFarland of Carrollton; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
