Obituary of Betty Jo Worley
Betty Jo Worley, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 13, 2021. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation is scheduled Monday, August 16, from 5:00 to 7:00PM. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, John Worley and daughter, Constance Hardy, at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev.Bob Dilks will officiate. Due to the recent rise of cases during the pandemic, all attendees are asked to wear a mask in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Betty was born September 5, 1929 in Mobile, AL to the late Ruel Henry Wilson and Verda Rosaline Stevens. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Warner Robins. Betty was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Cherokee Rose Garden Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting artworks, sewing, and ceramics.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. Worley, daughter, Constance Hardy; and sister, Margaret E. Poore.
Her loving memory will forever be remembered by her daughter, Ann (John) Ryals of Hawkinsville; grandchildren: Ashley H. (Joey) Pierce, John S. (Arrie) Ryals, Jr., James W. Ryals, Tyler W. Hardy; great grandchildren: Shelby A. Baughcum, Tessa J. Pierce, and Westin Pierce; Sister, June Endris of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
