Obituary of Billie Dawson

Billie LaRue Dawson, age 79, passed away August 14, 2021. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bruce Brookshire officiating. The friends may greet the family from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, August 18th, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. If you can not attend the service, you may watch it live on Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Facebook page under events. Mask are optional if you are attending the service.

Billie was born on May 15, 1942 in Wichita Kansas to the late Dorsey LaRue and Bertha LaRue. She is also preceded in death by her children, Elizabeth Reed and Steve Clinkenbeard. Billie was  a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed listening to all types of music and was a great organizer. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Billie Dawson is survived by her husband of 18years, Jerry Dawson; children, Rick (June) Clinkenbeard, James (Julie) Clinkenbeard; step-children, Stephanie (Steve) Eddy, David (LeAnn) Dawson, Michael (Kim) Dawson; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Sites; and a host of extended friends and family.
