Obituary of Michael David Neal

Kathleen, Georgia – Michael David “Washout” Neal, 47, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife at his bedside on Monday, August 30, 2021. A private Memorial Service honoring the life of Michael will be held at later date.

 

Michael was born on October 16, 1973 in Sanford, Florida to the late Barbara Hubbard and Johnny Neal. Michael was actively working at Robins Air Force Base where he served as an Air Craft Technician to ensure aircrafts were up to date on their maintenance. Michael was a very simplistic man who loved the outdoors and the beauty it withheld. Often times he could be found hunting, fishing, or even mud bogging. On Saturday afternoons, Michael could be seen cheering for the Florida Gators.

 

However, Michael most adored his family and the joy they brought into his life. He was a very proud father of three beautiful children that he encouraged often. He was a very patient man who would always find the right things to say in any situation. Michael was the rock of the family and would always find a way to provide for his loving wife of 17 ½ years and their children. He will forever be remembered for his empathetic and charismatic heart for others.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his beautiful bride of the last 17 ½ years, Rainy Edwards Neal; Children, Ashytn Neal, Chance Neal, Logan Neal; Siblings, Brenda Sapp, Matthew (Diane) Neal; Nieces, Sara (Jeremy) Stewart, Katelyn Neal; Nephews, Timothy Sapp, and Ryan Neal. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends that he shared many laughs alongside.
