Obituary of Dorothy Carter

Dorothy Carter, age 85, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 after a lengthy battle with dementia. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 15^th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Magnolia Park Cemetery. A private visitation will be held before the graveside service at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born in Ailey, GA, then lived in Macon, GA for many years, and has resided in Warner Robins, GA for the last 50+ years.

She began her career in the trucking industry for over 17 years and then working as a supervisor in Document Control at Robins Air Force Base where she retired in 1995.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Poole Darley (John) and John H. Halligan as well as two daughters; Linda Rene Carter Tigue and Tonya Darlene Carter.

She was survived by her son, Clarence Keith Potts; daughter, Kristi Carter Sell (John); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
