Obituary of Melissa Ellen Houchin House

Melissa Ellen Houchin House, age 55, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. A service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations please be made to, Trooppy Food Pantry Inc., 5186 Sand Hill Circle North, Lizella GA, 31052. 

Melissa was born in Louisville, KY to Beverly Ann Houchin and the late Jessie D. Houchin on August 2, 1966. Melissa was a kind and giving person who enjoyed thrift shopping, crafts, and going out to karaoke. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and her fur babies; Dobie Alexander Butler and Harley Davidson Butler. 

Melissa Ellen Houchin House is survived by her mother, Beverly Ann Houchin; siblings, Madonna (Wanda) Houchin-Campbell, Chris (Melinda) Gedvillas, Mark (Christina) Gedvillas; niece and nephew, Kayleigh Houchin-Campbell, Bradley Gedvillas; fiancé, Barry Butler, and a host of extended friends and family.
