Obituary of Ellis Barfield

Ellis Barfield, age 78, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ellis was born on November 1, 1942, in Blountstown, Fld. to the late Wayne Barfield and Dale Mathews Barfield. Ellis was a proud veteran of the United States Air force. He then went on to be the one of the Vice Presidents for Bank of America. After working at Bank of America, he worked at the Perry Georgia Fairgrounds for the last 11 years as night security. Ellis was a loving man who enjoyed watching sports, especially golf and tennis. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Ellis Barfield will be remembered by his wife of 59 years, Faith Barfield; children, Scott (Sarah) Barfield, April Morden, Craig (Patricia) Barfield; grandchildren, Rick Brown, Jacob Morden, Sam Morden, Hannah Cornwell, Ashley Lovell; brother, Ronnie (Debbie) Barfield, and a host of extended friends and family.
