Obituary of John "Yo-Yo" Pewters

John "Yo-Yo" Pewters, age 77, passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 23, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

John was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Terrence E. Pewters and Catherine Lange Pewters on May 24, 1944. He is also preceded by his sister, Ellen Pewters. John served in the United States Army for several years. He was a fan of Notre Dame Football and drag racing. He enjoyed the occasional scratch off ticket and most importantly, spending time with his beloved family and friends.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carole Pewters; children, Lisa (Brian) Tapley, Terrence (Jana) Pewters, David Pewters; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and a host of extended friends and family.
