Obituary of William Lawrence “Bill” Castelot

Warner Robins, Georgia –William Lawrence “Bill” Castelot, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. At the request of the family, all services will be private.

Bill was born on September 15, 1946, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late John and (Joy) Irene Castelot. He taught Math, first at Notre Dame of West Haven, and retiring from North Haven High School in Connecticut, after over 40 years of teaching. He was also an adjunct calculus professor at the University of New Haven and Southern Connecticut State University. Bill enjoyed boating and spending time on and near the water. He had a sweet tooth and would never turn down a chocolate covered cherry or a raspberry danish. Bill loved to watch UCONN (U-C-O-N-N!!) basketball and was a die-hard Mets fan (GO METS!!). Most of all, Bill loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He was known for his generosity, big heart, sense of humor, and passion to help those around him.

In addition to his parents, his brothers, Daniel and Thomas Castelot, and sister, Patricia Baker, precede William in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters: Lynn Cadena (Mike), West Haven, CT, Nicole Rodriguez (Juan), Stratford, CT, and Alicia Green (Maurice), Warner Robins, GA; three grandchildren: Isaiah and Alexa Rodriguez, and Elijah Green; ex-wife, Annette Castelot; four brothers: John, James, Lawrence, and Timothy Castelot; two sisters: Maureen Santoro and Susan Powers; and many nieces and nephews.
