Obituary of Lora Wallace

Lora Smith Wallace, age 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 8, 2021.  A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday December 15^th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Parkway Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum. The friends can greet the family Tuesday, December 14^th, 2021 between 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Lora was born in Mississippi to the late Pastor Gladys Everett. Lora served in the United States Air force for many years. She then went on to be a LPN. Lora and her husband, Retired Master Sergeant Willie Wallace, traveled around the world; to England, Washington, and many other beautiful places. Lora was loved dearly by her husband for 37 years, and was well taken care of by him. Aside from traveling, she also enjoyed fishing, cooking, and most importantly spending time with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren.  Lora was a kind and caring woman who always wanted the best for others. She dedicated her life to the Lord at a young age. She always put herself last, and her friends and family above all. 

Lora is survived by her husband, Willie Wallace; children, Willie (Stephanie) Wallace III, Gregory Anthony Wallace, Marcus Jay Wallace; grandchildren, Willie Henry Wallace IV, Jaylen Kennedy Wallace, Elianna Grace Wallace, Gregory Anthony Wallace, Jr., Caleb Tre Wallace; siblings, Debbie Glass, Thelma Rouse, Angela Almore, Roosevelt Almore, Sonya Almore; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended friends and family. 

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the honorary pallbearers; Marcus Glass, Quentin Smith, Ralph Hill, Michael Glass, Marcus Glass Jr, and Roosevelt Almore.
