Opal Ross is perhaps the most amazing woman I have ever known and loved all of my life. Among her talents: Loyalty beyond compare; an eye for fashion and clothing that was incredible; always positive and looking for the good in people and circumstances; the ability to laugh easily and often; the ability to love easily and often; the ability to forgive easily and often. She was a beautiful woman but never fully understood that. She was smart and DID know that. People say this all the time, but in this case, it so completely true, her family was her absolute FIRST priority. She and her husband Harold had the best marriage in the world. They were in love always and were never ever bored with each other. She would look at him and say "Are you my boyfriend?" and he always replied "Always have been, always will be". They had 2 children who loved, adored and stayed close to their parents always. Harold, Opal, Vicki and David were (and still are) the tightest knit family I have ever known. You can't say anything better than that, in my humble opinion. Opal always did her best. And it was the best. To so many of us. She left an indelible mark on so many people and she did it with love, compassion and great humor. My Aunt Opal is who we should all aspire to be; beautiful, smart, funny, tenacious, loyal, loving and positive. I love you more than words can say. Dixie
