Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Taylor, 67, went home to be with her  personal Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 2, 2022. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Cynthia will be held on a later date in Alabama.

Cynthia was born on March 5, 1954 in Holmes, County, Flordia to the late Adelene Ruth Curry and Bunice Bush. Cynthia was a strong willed woman who loved sharing her opinions on many different things. While she was a strong willed individual she was a lady who possesed a heart of gold. Cynthia was a very charismatic individual who loved helping those in a time of need and would also give the shirt of her back in order to help provide for someone in need. Cynthia had a warm and contagious laugh that would captivate everyone in the room, leading for others to join in.

Cynthia was a self taught musician who was very skilled in playing the piano. In fact when she was younger her parents placed her in music lessons and the teacher had stated, "We cant teach someone who the Lord has already gifted". She was so skilled she could play the insturments by the sound of the music. Cynthia was also a very hard working woman who served the Houston County Board of Education as a bus driver for 15 faithful years. During her tenure she had touched the lives of hundreds of children and loved them as if they were her own. She was also a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all of her soul, mind, and strength.

In addition to her parents there awaiting for her at the gates of heaven is her beloved daughter, Leslie Jordan; Step-son, William Grady Taylor; and her sister, Carolyn Kinkade.
