Obituary of Jo Elaine Rodgers

Jo Elaine Rodgers, age 72, passed away May 1, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Elaine was born on May 14, 1949 in Fitzgerald, GA to Virginia Driggers Freeman and the late Joseph Rodgers. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Rodgers and Jim Rodgers. Elaine was an avid animal lover who enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. She loved to sit and watch the birds while relaxing and listening to her windchimes. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Elaine was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and dear friend who will be dearly missed.

Jo Elaine Rodgers is survived by her mother, Virginia Driggers Freeman; children: Scott (Angela) Ford and Celise (Bryan) Taylor; grandchildren: Jacob (Jenna), Dylan (Randi Lea), William, Sara, Nicole, Hunter, Kyla Mae, and Kacy; great grandchildren: Kaleigh, Adalyn, Parker Lea, and Atlas; siblings: Roger Rodgers and Paul Rodgers; and a host of extended friends and family.
