Obituary of Eleanor Joyce Collins Wilkerson Sisneros

Eleanor Joyce Collins Wilkerson Sisneros, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens with Reverend Paul Cowles officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 12:00PM until 2:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations please be made to: Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund of Warner Robins, 1322 Feagin Mill Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088. 

Joyce was born in Columbus, GA to the late Hazel Davis Collins and Allen Collins on May 12, 1943. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles Wilkerson; her beloved husband, Robert Stanley Sisneros; siblings: Ronald Collins, Allen Collins, Jr., Linda Collins Smalley, and three infant siblings.  Joyce worked at the L&H Shirt Factory in Cochran for several years and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Joyce was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church of Warner Robins, GA where she devoted her life to her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed going to eat and fellowship every Friday at Snellgrove's Seafood but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and dear friend who will be dearly missed. 

Eleanor Joyce Sisneros is survived by her children: Sheila (Joe) Bechtel of McDonough and Charlie (Karen) Wilkerson of Warner Robins; grandchildren: Hunter and Zachary Bechtel and Logan Wilkerson; siblings: Bonnie (Jim) Monk of Cochran, Gary (Debbie) Collins of Cochran, Tony (Janice) Collins of Cochran, Timothy Collins of Cochran, Kenneth Collins of Cochran, and Pamela (Bill) Atwood of Springfield, OR; and a host of extended friends and family.
