Obituary of Rita "Faye" Hoover Talbert

Rita "Faye" Hoover Talbert, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  A visitation for family and friends is scheduled Friday, June 3,  from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Robbie Passmore officiating. . Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Jimmy B. Talbert.

Rita was born in Hagler, Arkansas on December 24, 1932 to the late Colvin and Bessie Hoover. She enjoyed listening to music and Rita was a huge Alex Trebek fan and watched Jeopardy, along with the Wheel of Fortune, every night. She spent many days out working in the yard, piddling about, and shopping at K-Mart. Rita liked to spend hours reading books, especially biographies of important people. Rita always knew how to make people laugh, she continuously made jokes and had a great sense of humor. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and everyone who knew her will miss her.

In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Banks Talbert and numerous siblings.
Rita is survived by her children: Jimmy K. (Judy) Talbert and Misty (Joseph Scott) Marney ; grandchildren: Stephani (Kyle) Tucker, Dusty (Megan) Talbert, Corey (Brianna) Talbert, and Jaden Gatliff; great grandchildren: Davis Talbert, Chandler Simmons, Levi Talbert, Banks Talbert, Kent Tucker, and two more Talberts on the way; and sister, Nellie Dwyer.
