Fort Valley, Georgia – Mary Bracken Bryant, 72, went home to be with her personal lord and savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 12, 2022. A Funeral Service honoring the life of Mary will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:00AM at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Darron Moncus officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Grace Baptist Church. Immediately following the services Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Rodney Bryant at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Mary was born on November 22, 1949 in Warner Robins, Georgia to the late Myrtle Parrish and Lawrence Knight. Mary was a hard worker all of her life. She worked along side of her mother for many years at the Summit Chase Flea Market. During her tenure she had developed numerous relationships with the citizens of Middle Georgia. When Mary was not working she could often times be found painting gourds and other crafts.
Mary was the epitome of a loving individual who loved her family with all of her heart. She was a devoted mother and wife who strived to provide for those she cared for. Mary was a very charismatic individual who would give the shirt off her back to someone in their time of need. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and her generous acts of giving.
Mary was also a member of Grace Baptist Church for 25+ years. While Mary had accomplished so much in her life, nothing will compare to the love she had possessed for her lord and Savior. Mary Understood the importance of running the race and fight the good fight while keeping the faith as 2 Timothy 4:7 states.
In addition to Mary’s parents, there awaiting for Mary at the gates of heaven is her beloved husband, Rodney Bryant; brother, Brad Parrish.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory is her beloved son, Gary Coffman, step daughter Cathy Lowrey (Mark); grandchildren, Clent, Taylor, Cage; siblings, Larry Knight, Rose Weaver (Mike), Gloria Hamilton (Mike), Chris Parrish. Mary is also survived by a host of many extended family members and countless friends.
