Obituary of Mary Lee Duke

Mary Lee Duke, age 95, went to be with her Lord and Personal Savior on June 28, 2022. A Graveside service will be held at Parkway Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM where she will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Luther D. Duke. The friends are welcome to greet the family at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Friday, July 1, 2022 between 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. 

Mary was born in Moultrie Georgia to the late Tom Hancock and Eva Matthews Hancock on January 18, 1927. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Luther D. Duke; siblings, Kenneth Hancock and Ethelene Hancock Hart. 
Mary enjoyed cooking family meals and baked goods, gardening, and sewing. Mary was extremely family oriented and even sewed her daughters wedding dresses. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Martha (Jimmy) Witherington, and Dianne (Lynn) Flanders; grandchildren, Tony Sellers, Todd Sellers, and Chad Walton; great grandchild, Kamden Sellers, and a host of extended friends and family.
