Obituary of Rosaland Genette Mathison Tallet

Rosaland Genette Mathison Tallet, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2022.  A reception for family and friends will be held at  First United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. A visitation will immediately follow from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with Dr. Josh Bizzell officiating.

Rosaland was born in Ozark, AL, to the late Sally Hughes and Luther Mathison. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jose Tallet; siblings, Aron, Jerrell, and L.C. 
Rosaland devoted her life to her personal Lord and Savior. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church where she sang joyfully in the choir and was apart of the Windmore Sunday School Class. Rosaland was a Master Gardener that had the very best green thumb. As well as gardening, she enjoyed cross stitching, painting, and clay ceramics. Rosaland was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend that will be deeply missed. 

Rosaland is survived by her children, Joseph (Sue) and Jon (Sharon); grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Aeron, Jacob, Liana; great grandchildren, Claire and Liam; brother, Julian (Sue) Mathison, and a host of extended friends and family.
