Obituary of Linda Merle Burke

Warner Robins, Georgia – Linda Merle Burke, 70, went home to be with her personal lord and savior, Jesus on Thursday, September 1, 2022. A Funeral Service honoring the life of Linda will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Jim Perdue officiating. Immediately following the services, Linda will be laid to rest beside her beloved parents at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Linda was born on October 19, 1951 in Macon, Georgia to the late Norma Jenkins Burke and Ray Burke. Linda was a very loving individual who loved to make others smile and share the light of Christ. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she had remained active for several years until her health begin to decline.

Linda was very involved in the Happy Hour Services Center where she had learned and devolped countless skills. During her free time she could often times be found solving puzzles, and expressing her warm, infectious smile. Linda had a way of showing those she cared and adored that she loved them and it was always heartfelt. Linda was a very genuine lady who found the good in every situation and never let the bad get her down.

Left to cherish the beautiful legacy of Linda is her beloved brother, Ray Burke; Bonaire; Nieces, Stacy Stella (Roger); Perry, Sherry Roundtree (Russell); Centerville, Kim Black; Bonaire, Kerry Rozell; Bonaire; Nephew, Justin Burke (Mikayla); Perry. Linda is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude towards her second family, Happy Hour Services for the love and devotion they have expressed over the last several years.
