Obituary of Rita Nell Zweck

Rita Nell Zweck entered into eternal rest September 22, 2022. She was of the

Southern Baptist faith and believer of Jesus Christ. Rita was born in Wharton,

Texas in 1943 to the late Herbert and Ethel Stevens. She is also preceded in

death by her loving husband, Robert. She held a Master's Degree in Nursing

and retired from home health after years of dedicated service. Rita enjoyed

painting ceramics, reading novels, especially by the author/actress

Carrie Fisher. Music was also a passion and she even pursued voice lessons in

her younger days. The musical artists Celtic Women could often be heard

playing in her home.

She is survived by her son, Kurt (Jennifer) Zweck; grandchildren: Autumn

Zweck Cutting, Kaitlyn Hill, Jacqueline Alcantar, Sierra Engram and Noah

Engram; great- grandchild, Landyn Meeks; brother, Seth Stevens and

nephew, Gary Stevens. She is also survived by a host of extended family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
