Obituary of Rita Runette Rogers

Rogers, Rita R., 80, of Kathleen, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Born November 15, 1941 at Lillington, North Carolina, oldest daughter of Bill and Rita (Hinkle) Peters. Preceded in death by parents; husband James L. Rogers, Jr. and sister Reba Hall, Castle Rock, Washington. Survived by sister Sonya Mitchell (Bill); niece Tonya Glathar; great nephew Damian Glathar; great niece Nevaeh Glathar, all of Omaha, Nebraska; brother-in-law Roy F. Hall, Castle Rock, Washington; nephew Roy J.B. Hall, Portland, Oregon; step-daughter Carol Kelley (Darryl); two step-grandsons Trey and Clayton Brantley; three great step-granddaughters Gracelyn Moxley, Madelyn Fountain, Aaliyah Brantley, all of Bonaire, Georgia; cousins and friends. As a Federal Civil Service employee for 30 years, she retired on September 30, 1995 from Robins Air Force Base as a Management Analyst. Interment will be at Parkway Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on Thursday, October 13, 2022, 3:00PM. A visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 until 3:00pm in the Mausoleum one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter; The National WWII Museum, P.O. Box 97336, Washington, D.C., or the Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road, NE A#M20, Atlanta, Georgia 30326.
