Obituary of Linda Faye Poole

Linda Faye Poole, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Lance Walker officiating. A committal service will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery, Monday, November 7, 2022 at 12:00PM where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, John Robert Poole. Friends are welcomed to greet the family at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, November 4, 2022 between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. 

Linda was born on January 26, 1943 in Byron, GA to the late Lena and Jack Maddox. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sons, Carl Wells and Daniel Hanson, Sr.. Linda devoted her life to serving her personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing gospel hymns and sharing the word of the Lord. After retiring from Robins Air Force Base after 18 years, Linda enjoyed catering meals and most importantly, spending time with her family. Linda was a joyful and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend who will be deeply missed. 

Linda is survived by granddaughters, Megan (Shannon) Folsom, of Warner Robins and Jessica Wells, of Macon; great grandchildren, Kaylie, Noah, Aiden, Seth, Hannah, and Haylee; siblings, Jackie (Don) Davis, of McDonough, and Johnny (Marcia) Maddox of Dawsonville, and a host of extended friends and family.
