Obituary of Mildred Craig

Mrs. Mildred Craig, 91 ,went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 9, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Haven of Hope Spirit Filled Church in Hawkinsville, GA at 1:00 PM. Mildred was born on November 25, 1930 in Omega, GA to the late George W. Exum and Susan Cravey Exum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thurman "Eddie" Craig. Mrs. Mildred devoted her life at a young age to serve her personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Gospel Assembly in Tampa, FL before relocating to Georgia. Mildred then began to attend Haven of Hope Spirit Filled Church in Hawkinsville, GA. She enjoyed listening to the words of worship and lyrics of hymnals. Mildred was a loving mother, who joyfully took extraordinary care of her family. She savored time spent with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Mildred is survived by her children: Sherri (Rusty) Sumner, Edward Jeanette) Craig, Annette (Johnny) Lambert, Gerald (Laurie) Craig, and Rhonda Crowe; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Gussy Anderson of Bluffton, Indiana, and Dorothy Lou Willis of Lakeland, Florida; and a host of extended friends and family.
