Obituary of Len Eaton

Warner Robins, Georgia – Howard “Len” Eaton Jr, 68, passed away suddenly at home with his puppies by his side on Saturday, February 18, 2023. A memorial service honoring the life of Len will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery at a later date where he will be laid to rest with the love of his life who preceded in him death just 15 months earlier.

Len was born on May 21,1954, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Carol Jean Armstrong Eaton and Howard Eaton Sr.

When Len retired, their family relocated from Maryland to Georgia for warmer climates, Len hated the cold weather; he spent most of his career working as a master auto parts technician and he was very good at it. He received numerous awards from his past employers.

Len was an avid clock collector who had collected and restored many different models of clocks; a fantastic cook in the kitchen and he also had an absolute love for music. He was very proud of all the stereo equipment he had collected over the years.

Len was quite a funny character who always made friends wherever he went. He touched the lives of everyone that knew him and for that his memories be cherished forever.

Not much is known about Len’s side of the family; it is known he had 3 birth sisters. There has been little success locating Jeanene Eaton or Debra Riggs. Kathy Eaton passed away several years ago.

Len was a part of the Quillin family all of his adult life, 48 wonderful years and we all loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Len is preceded in death by his beloved spouse, William “Bill” Quillin; sister ,Kathy Eaton, brother-in-law, John Quillin and nephew, Ryan Quillin.

Left to cherish his memory are his in-law family members - mother-in-law, Alyce Quillin; siblings, Brian Quillin (Debbie), Joel Quillin (Marie), Catherine Quillin-Horn, Maria LaFon (Eric), Martin Quillin, Thomas Quillin (Denise); Stephanie Queensen (Paul), Robert Griffin, and Tim Cronin. Len is also survived by his two fur babies, Jackie O, and Boris as well as several nieces and nephews and countless amounts of extended family members and friends.
