Obituary of Mildred A. Falkner
Mildred "Millie" Ann Falkner, age 84, left this life on April 23, 2023 to be with her beloved Lord & Savior. Millie was born July 9, 1938 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Sam Clark and Ollie Boren Clark. She is also preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Lee, of 35 years and sons: Terry Arbuckle and Timmy Arbuckle. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. The inurnment will immediately follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Millie was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church and devoted member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She also attended services at New Life Baptist Church and Grace Fellowship Church, both of Warner Robins. Millie was a Master 'Yardener' & "organizationalist". She put these skills to work in the service to others in the following organizations:
life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, holding a Masters degree, having served many times in every position. She held a 26 year perfect attendance record.
Millie was the Charter President of The Houston Peaches Lions Club in 1992, receiving several awards, including the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. She was a member of the Warner Robins Women's Club and Woman of the Year in 1997. Although, she enjoyed all of her volunteer work, her main joy was that of a wife and mother.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia (Tom) McCaffrey and Charlene Arbuckle; sons, Tony Arbuckle and Charles Arbuckle; and step-daughter Deborah Soltow. Additionally, she is blessed with 5 grand-daughters, a great grandson, and 2 great grand-daughters. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to Grace Fellowship Church, 1010 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, GA 31093, led by Pastor Bruce Brookshire.
